Exclusive ‘Office Uprising’ Trailer Drinks the Kool-Aid, Kicks Zombie Ass!

Lin Oeding is drinking the energy drink from hell having directed the zombie pic Office Uprising, which now has an official poster and trailer ahead of this July 19th‘s free release on Sony Crackle. In addition, the movie will premiere ahead of the wide release exclusively through PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 July 12-15 and on Amazon Fire TV July 16-18 via the Sony Crackle app.

Brenton Thwaites (Gods of Egypt, Maleficent) stars a slacker who has to step up his game in order to rescue himself and his friends from a growing zombie plague inside his company compound.

An underachiever working at a major weapons manufacturing firm finds that his co-workers have been “weaponized” by a new energy drink designed for the military. He must then set off to rescue his one true love from an office building full of psychotic coworkers armed with deadly tech.

Jane Levy (Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead), Zachary Levi (Shazam!), Alan Ritchson, and Ian Harding co-star with Sam Daly (Submerged).

Ian Shorr and Peter Gamble wrote the script.

‘Keeper’ – Tatiana Maslany Starring in Next Horror Movie from ‘Longlegs’ Director

While we wait for the serial killer thriller Longlegs, director Osgood Perkins (The Blackcoat’s Daughter, Gretel & Hansel) has already set up his NEXT movie. It’s titled Keeper.

Deadline reports tonight that Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) and Rossif Sutherland (Possessor) will star in Keeper, and NEON has acquired the rights to the project.

Deadline notes, “Neon will distribute in the U.S. and handle international sales rights to the film in Cannes, with Elevation Pictures set to distribute in Canada.”

Keeper follows a couple as they escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a secluded cabin. When Malcolm (Sutherland) suddenly returns to the city, Liz (Maslany) finds herself isolated and in the presence of an unspeakable evil that unveils the cabin’s horrifying secrets.”

Perkins will direct from a screenplay written by Nick Lepard.

First up, NEON will release Longlegs in theaters on July 12.
