Lee was born on January 10, 1975 in Toronto, Canada to dad Brian and mom Jeannie. He moved at an early age with his father and brother Shane to the Ontario town of Kingston. A natural jock, Lee was the quintessential "all-Canadian boy" excelling in hockey, football and winning many sports trophies.

Lee saw the musical production Fire in 1991 which inspired him toward the performing arts. Having discovered his passion, he began training his acting and singing talents. Encouraged by his high school teacher and mentor, Phil Ridley, Lee enrolled in drama lessons and landed roles

… More in several local theatre productions in Kingston. Lee toured Europe in 1993 as part of the cast of Questions, a musical which addressed the issue of teenage drug abuse.

As Lee's interest in the theatre was developing, Lee decided to also pursue academic interests in health, bio-nutrition, and nursing at St. Lawrence College. In 1998, Lee came to the understanding within himself that a medical career was not for him and that acting was his true love, at which point, with $35 in his pocket, he packed his bags for Toronto, Canada's entertainment hub.

Lee took odd jobs while searching for professional representation in Toronto. With his megawatt smile and a friendly attitude, it wasn't long before talent agencies were lining up to add him to their roster. He soon became immersed within the film and television industry and appeared on commercials as well as several television productions including Traders, Exhibit A, Queer as Folk and The Famous Jett Jackson to name a few. His film credits include Bait (with Jamie Foxx), Phantom of the Megaplex (with Mickey Rooney), True Blue (with Tom Berenger), Troy Denied, where he played the titled lead character, and Derby Duck where he performed in a lead role. Lee continues his education studying and refining his on-camera skills with notable acting coaches and top directors.

Lee's philosophy can be summed up by the credo, "Treat others as you yourself would like to be treated", and he believes that honesty, loyalty and integrity are a man's most important qualities. He also advocates that one should never take oneself too seriously and his favorite expression is to "Keep Smiling!"
